A full day with people who came to build

The format is the difference. A trusted campus environment, an audience that came to learn, and a full day of hands-on time with your product in front of them.

A trade show aisle gives you a badge scan. A build day gives you the person at the laptop, the project they are trying to finish, and the exact moment your product gets hard for them.

  • 01
Conversations while people buildYour team talks one to one with real users at the moment they are using the product, at the table where they are working.
  • 02
A coaching roleYour people sit with attendees, unblock them, and watch where the product gets hard. That is product insight a panel cannot give you.
  • 03
Room for your communitySuper users, community members, and local advocates can take part as coaches and presenters alongside your staff, which extends your reach without extending your travel budget.
  • 04
A mixed-age regional audienceStudents, working adults, career changers, small business owners, and retirees, drawn from the campus's own region.
  • 05
Credit where it landsReal value delivered to the college's own end-users, credited to you, in a room the institution stands behind.
  • 06
Content from the dayPhotos, video, and participant stories that feature your tool in genuine use, ready for your own channels.

What we ask

A participation fee. Pricing is banded by company size. Contact us for the current schedule.

An offer to attendees. Something people can leave with and keep using, such as credits, a student discount, or a free tier.

The neutrality rule

Sessions are led by an objective presenter who surveys the whole landscape. No company dominates a track, and the room is never a sales floor. Attendees trust the day, and that trust carries over to the people coaching them.

You convene. We produce.

Your campus hosts and convenes. Build On Campus develops and owns the curriculum, runs the program with your input and sign-off, brings the technology companies to the room, and produces the marketing materials and content capture around the event.

  • 01
A regional community eventOne you do not have to staff or design. Students, working adults, and local businesses in one room, on your campus.
  • 02
A complete promotional kitReady to run through your own channels, in your own voice, on your own timeline.
  • 03
Professional contentPre-event, day-of, and post-event content featuring your people and your students' work.
  • 04
Footage and metricsUsable for workforce and grant reporting, and for showing your board and your region what happened.
  • 05
A badge pathwayRun through your own professional learning team, so attendance counts inside your institution.
Terms and data

Partnership terms are scoped per campus and handled in conversation. Attendee data is opt-in. The college gets export and deletion rights. Media consent is handled separately.

Beginners are the point

No business idea and no technical background required. Bring a venture, a work task, coursework, or something from home life.

The day opens with human intelligence first: what you know, what you want to make, and how to direct the tools toward it. Then you survey the tool landscape, build in two hands-on sessions with coaches at your table, and show what you made in a demo hour.

How a day runs

The shape is flexible. The clock is set with each host campus. Each slot notes who is in the room and what they are doing.
